As a CEO of a large company, there is a lot to oversee, plan and to do. In fact, one of the main things that a CEO can do is to motivate his or her employees. In your production area, who produces your products? Who does your services? It’s your employees. So, basically and fundamentally you make money because of how productive your employees are. Because of this, a CEO must and absolutely must take care of his or her employees. How then should a CEO must takes care of his or her employees? Well first, is of course the salary. The right salary should be given to your employees. Proper wages or should I say fair wages are one of the things that can highly motivate your employees, especially if they were given the wages that are due to them. Another thing that can motivate your employees to be productive is incentives, like Christmas bonuses or performance bonuses. This could be in form of cash or a free trip to a certain place or a gift cheque or perhaps appliances and others. If you offer this to your employees, they would certainly would want to work hard to get those incentives, who doesn’t want a reward? Right?
Another thing that can motivate your employees is company activities. These company activities can be in a form of awards night, sports festival, team building activities, free seminars and many more. In the awards night professional public speakers can be invited as a celebrity guest speakers. Since awards night program can have a opening ceremony or a certain part where the celebrity guest speaker can personally congratulate the winners or motivate those who did not win to work harder to garner an award.
