These days there is a general shift towards intuitive technologies that don’t take much thought to operate. Touch screens are a prime example of this, and can be operated very simply, by touching swiping or pinching a receptive surface.
Recently, touch screens have supplanted QWERTY phones in the mobile market, but is this really the end of QWERTY?
Well according to Nokia certainly not. They have released a new range of QWERTY phones that are affordable and have many of the features you’d expect from quality mobiles, such as special media integration.
Specifically these phones are the C3, E5 and E6 and they each fill different price brackets, and offer varying functionality. They are all bound by the use of a QWERTY keyboard however, and for many this is still a preferred mode of input.
For some the physical sensation of pressing buttons is part and parcel of using technology. Typing texts and e-mails can be a more comfortable experience on a QWERTY keyboard, and keys tend to be more responsive.
The choice to market a new QWERTY range is the kind of innovative step that is typical for the Nokia brand.
They were, after all the original purveyors of smartphones, and the chances are you will have one or two old Nokias squirreled away in your home somewhere. At Mazuma we offer a sell my mobile service, and so if you want to recycle a Nokia phone, even an older mobile, you can do so through our website.
